EX3 2008 Winter Tutoring

1-on-1 Tutoring

EX3 is proud to offer 1-on-1 tutoring for only $15 per session for all  students in grades 6-12. All tutors are trained and have experienced  tutoring both middle and high school subjects. Tutoring will begin September 29th. Each session is  approximately one hour in length. After placing a tutor request, each student is paired with a tutor that fits his or her specific grade level, subject and learning style. Please allow a minimum of two weeks for a tutor/student match.

EX3 Study Club & Tech Lab

Study Club is a quiet place where you can catch up on homework. Our partnership with AmeriCorps has made it possible to have free access to academic assistants in the Learning Lounge for those tough classes or just a little more motivation. Help will be provided for Math, English, History, Social Studies, Science, etc.

Days/Time: Monday-Thursday 2:00-4:30

Do you need access to a computer? The Computer Lab is a great place for you to write that paper, do research, print articles, etc. There will also be an AmeriCorps volunteer in the Lab to help you with any homework or computer issues you may have.

Days/Time: Monday-Thursday 4:15-5:30

During her two years as an AmeriCorps member with the Southwest Louisiana Area Health Education Center, Tinalynn Wolfe was placed with the Cameron Council on Aging in Louisiana's Cameron Parish, one of the state's most medically underserved areas.
